I saw Bad Veins tonight at The Echo. There is something to be said about seeing a band that means a lot to you in a small, somewhat full room of people where that cannot be said of everyone else.
This was my third time seeing them, and each time I have, I wonder why they haven’t blown up yet. They (and their eponymous debut LP) are dangerously underrated, or at least undermentioned. The guys played 3-4 new songs tonight, and there wasn’t a dud amongst them. I’m looking forward to their next full length, and hope they stick with it for a long time to come.
